The agreement

Terms of Use

MinuteMill is a service provided and operated by Syllable Agency LLC. These terms cover the MinuteMill website and job time tracking service.

Effective October 21, 2026

1. Who these terms apply to

“MinuteMill,” “we,” and “us” refer to Syllable Agency LLC, a Georgia limited liability company. “You” means the person using the service and, where you create or manage a workspace on behalf of a business, that business.

By creating an account or using MinuteMill, you agree to these terms. A manager opening a workspace must have authority to enter into this agreement for their business. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled; optional website analytics requires a separate choice.

2. Company accounts and employee access

Managers manage their company's jobs, employees, time records, settings, and billing. Employees join through a manager's invitation and use the access assigned to them. Keep account details accurate, use a separate account for each person, protect passwords and invitation links, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

The business is responsible for authorizing employee access, removing access when appropriate, and providing any workplace notices or permissions required for recording employee information. A manager must not invite someone unless the business is entitled to provide their information and authorize their use of MinuteMill.

3. What the service does

MinuteMill records labor time by person and job. Employees start, stop, and switch jobs in their browser. Managers review records, make corrections with reasons, and export reports. Timers continue on the server when a browser closes. Starting, stopping, switching, and saving changes require an internet connection.

You are responsible for checking that jobs and times are accurate and correcting mistakes. MinuteMill is a recording tool; it does not determine wages, calculate payroll taxes, give employment advice, or certify compliance with wage, overtime, break, recordkeeping, or other employment requirements. Your business remains responsible for those decisions and obligations.

4. Free access and paid subscriptions

One manager and one employee are included free. Additional active employee seats are billed under the monthly price and currency shown in Billing and at checkout. Creating a free workspace does not authorize a charge. A manager must confirm a paid subscription through Stripe checkout before subscription billing begins.

By confirming a subscription, you authorize recurring charges for the selected plan and seat quantity until you cancel. Billing shows the applicable price and employee count. Changes to active employee seats can change your subscription quantity and may produce prorated charges or credits; review the billing information before confirming changes.

Stripe processes subscription payments, invoices, and payment method details. You are responsible for keeping billing details current and paying amounts properly due, including applicable taxes shown at checkout or on an invoice. If a payment fails, we may contact you and restrict paid service until the issue is resolved.

We will notify the billing contact before a change to the recurring price takes effect for an existing subscription. You can cancel before that change applies. For a billing mistake or refund request, contact track@minutemill.com. Any rights to a refund required by applicable law remain in effect.

5. Cancel any time

A manager can cancel from Billing → Cancel subscription. Review the subscription and end date on Stripe's confirmation page, then confirm cancellation. Return to Billing to check the cancellation status. If you cannot reach your account or the cancellation page, contact track@minutemill.com for help.

Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal. Your subscription remains active through the end of the current paid billing period. You do not need to contact sales or give a reason to cancel. Canceling does not undo charges or other amounts already due.

Cancellation does not itself delete the company workspace, employee accounts, or recorded hours. One manager and one employee remain included free. Export any records you need to keep. If you want to close the workspace or request deletion of information, contact us; cancellation and deletion are separate requests.

6. Your records and uploaded content

You retain your rights in the information and content you provide, including jobs, time entries, notes, spreadsheets, company logos, and profile pictures. You give us permission to store, process, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate, support, and secure MinuteMill. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

Only upload content you are entitled to use and information needed for the job time tracking workflow. Do not enter payment card numbers, government identification numbers, medical records, or other sensitive information that the service does not ask for. Managers can export hours as CSV; your business is responsible for keeping the records it needs for its own legal and operational requirements.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use MinuteMill unlawfully, send spam, upload harmful files, deliberately falsify another person's records, access another company's information, share another person's account, or attempt to bypass security or disrupt the service. Do not scrape private workspace information or use the service to infringe someone else's rights.

We may suspend or restrict access to address abuse, security risks, nonpayment, or a material breach of these terms. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the issue and give you a chance to resolve it. Urgent security or legal issues may require immediate action. A suspension does not itself cancel a paid subscription; use the cancellation process or contact us.

8. Availability and changes

We maintain and improve MinuteMill, but maintenance, internet failures, software problems, and third-party outages can interrupt access. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every error can be prevented. We may change features, and we will give reasonable notice of a material reduction in paid service or a planned service closure where practicable.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. This does not remove any warranty or other right that the law does not permit us to exclude.

9. Responsibility and limits

Each party remains responsible for its own conduct and obligations under these terms. To the extent permitted by applicable law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including lost profits or business opportunities. This limitation does not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Changes to these terms and governing law

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will publish the new effective date here and give account holders reasonable notice of material changes before they take effect where practicable. If you do not agree to a material change, you can stop using MinuteMill and cancel your subscription.

Georgia law governs these terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory legal protections or prevents you from exercising rights that cannot be waived by agreement. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
